Continuity
What stays true across versions
- Historical recovery keeps three dates separate: original event date, later recovery or reconstruction date, and ingestion or canonization date.
- Superseded language remains recoverable and labeled as historical rather than being silently deleted or rewritten.
- Current canon must be distinguishable from historical formulation, hypothesis or research, narrative record, and operational state.
- Operational deployment truth is not the same thing as constitutional canon and should remain on operational status surfaces.
